The 2010 Jigstar Kojak rods have been designed by one of the best jigging rod designer/builders in the world.

The 2010 Kojak JSRs are built on the same blanks as the 2009 JSRs, as these blanks have more than proven themselves over the last year. Fuji SiC guides have been retained. On the 2010 JSR 250 and JSR 350 rods, the number of guides has been increased from 7 to 9, and on the JSR 450 from 7 to 8. This provides better energy distribution throughout the blank when fighting strong fish. The guides on the 2010 JSRs have also been “double-overlaid” to ensure better wrappings and again to enhance energy distribution throughout the blank.

The EVA fore-grip on the 2010 JSRs has been upgraded to a “formed” fore-grip ensuring better hand placement, comfort and grip for the jigger while fighting a fish.

The Fuji reel-seat of the 2009 JRSs has been replaced with ALPS Aluminium reel-seats on the 2010 Kojak JSRs with no increase in rod weight. The Aluminium rod balancer has also been upgraded for the 2010 JSRs.
